Our strategy in the Mercosur
Alimentos Sagemüller has settled its plants in key places within the Mercosur. “EL
Dorado” is one of these sites and at the same time it constitutes one
of the richest raw material-producing regions in the world.
Sagemüller is located in the city of Bragança Paulista, in the
industrial belt of the city of Sao Paulo, Brasil, Villa Mercedes in the province
of San Luis, Argentina and in the province of Entre Ríos, in the Argentine
north-eastern region.
One of the most outstanding advantages of this company is that it is able to
produce high quality raw material with the best costs, elaborate said material
and commercialise the final products. All of this is done from a most favourable
location, which allows us to reach the most important local markets.
The company has access to all the regions surrounding the north-south route
that links the south of Matto Grosso to the River Plate, due to the connection
between Santiago de Chile-Sao Paulo and the river.
Entre Ríos is not only a province acting merely as a bridge, but it
is also one of the best areas for agricultural production, not only due to
its topographic and climatic conditions, but due to its water reservoir, one
of the largest in the region.
