In all our variety of rice we use the ancient well-known Oryza Sativa as raw material. This plant is mainly grown in the Province of Entre Ríos.

The rice is sent to our storing silos and is selected according to the strictest quality controls.

Two main types of rice are commercialised: long thin grain rice and long wide or double or double Carolina rice. These types of rice are different mainly in the morphological characteristics

The type 00000 rice contains a maximum of 15 % of broken grains. The type 0000 rice contains a maximum of 25 % of broken grains.

Both types are harvested and subject to a drying, conditioning, and cleaning process and then the grains are husked and polished through a special process, according to the final product to be achieved.
